Amanda Wires
Belpre Homecoming President
Amanda (Malone) Wires is the Belpre Homecoming Committee's acting President.
Amanda lives in Belpre with her husband Matt and their daughter Sadie. Amanda is also a Belpre alumnus, graduating from Belpre High in 2006. Amanda is employed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician where she works remotely. Amanda has been on the Belpre Homecoming committee since 2019. Amanda acted as President last year and is very excited to keep that role this year. Being active in the community and giving back is something Amanda is very passionate about. Making sure the Belpre Homecoming sticks around and is a tradition for many families for many years, is one of the main reasons Amanda joined the committee. Not only does she love giving back and being part of the Homecoming, but she also enjoys traveling, camping, spending time with family and friends and being a supportive dance mom! Make sure you find her during the festival this summer and say Hello!
Melinda Waterman
Vice President
Melinda (Meredith) Waterman is the Belpre Homecoming Commitee’s acting Vice President.
Melinda is a long-standing resident of Belpre and is raising her 3 children in town with her husband (Philip). Melinda is a BHS graduate (class of ’99) and continued her academic endeavors and obtained a Master's and Dual Bachelor's Degrees from Ohio University and an Associate's Degree from WSCC. Post graduation, Melinda has centered her career in working with children and families and currently
works at Blueprints – a therapeutic foster care and adoption agency- for fourteen years as their State
Director. Melinda is an active board member for the national Family Focused Treatment Association
where she is also active on the Executive Commitee, the Chair for the CCC Commitee and is the Vice Chair for the West Virginia chapter. Melinda enjoys giving back and building stronger community ties and looks forward to her journey on the Homecoming Commitee!
